Looking for a quick, do at home workout? This is a great one.

This was one of the first workouts I did on BodyRock.tv.  I loved that she did it live and was sad they didn't keep doing it that way.  It is a great one to start with all you need is something to elevate your legs on.
It is a 16 minute workout that will leave you wiped out when you are done. I am doing this one tomorrow.

You can find the whole post on Bodyrock.tv HERE
I do recommend not doing the ninja jump tucks barefoot, I have rug burned the top of my foot that way.
Zuzana is no longer leading the workout on Bodyrock.tv which is such a bummer to me.  She IS Bodyrock.tv to me, not that the workouts aren't still hard, the people leading them now just aren't Zuzana and I miss her.  I think the workouts have been harder than ever though.
Anyone else a Bodyrocker out there?  What do you think of the changes that have happened?

I am trying to decide if I buck up and get my butt outside where it is COLD and WINDY or do I hop on the elliptical and do that.  Hmm.  I would really rather run, but not if I am going to FREEZE while I do it.  I can take the cold and some wind but this is a  really brutal wind today. The swings on the swing set are  out there going crazy.  Not real encouraging.  Ugh

On a high note!
  • I have been doing better getting in my fruits and veggies and eating less crap!
  • I went over 300 GFC followers yesterday  :)
  • I have already done my Bodyrock.tv workout for the day. I did the 550 Rep Massacre which is all body weight.
  • I didn't do the Hot Chocolate 15k yesterday which sounds like a mess.  You can read about that from In the Between , It's a Dog Lick Baby World, and Chocolate is my Life.  I imagine Running Ricig and Running on Coffee will have something to say about it later too.  Sounds like they all had quite a time!
What is one of your high notes today?

  1. I'm going to have to check out Bodyrock tv! I workout at home and am always looking for things to mix it up. Plus 16 minutes sound a-ok to me!

We are getting ready to go to bfast and then go to get our Christmas tree! woo hoo! Hopefully working out later today!

  2. I love BodyRock too. I haven't been that consistent with it. I usually peruse her site to get ideas for my classes. Most of her moves are too much for my clients. They are all beginners. But I am working toward getting them strong enough to do an entire workout. I just ordered a weight bag off Amazon and am excited to try some of those exercises. I agree that it isn't the same without Zusana. I miss the Zusana/Freddy partnership.

I need to try this workout you posted. I need to run a mile today as well to keep my mile-a-day streak.

  3. I too have been reading the Hot Chocolate 15k reports and reeling in shock!

Am ridiculously proud of myself for running in the rain today - it was only 3 miles, but I arrived home soaking wet and with a grin on my face :) I think BodyRock is probably a bit hardcore for me at the moment! Maybe I'll build up to it...

  14. My highlight is another run and starting to feel like I'm no longer recovering and celebrating my son's 15th birthday.

I'm going to try the workout you shared. I don't mind running in the cold and I don't mind running in the rain. Cold and rainy? It's a challenge getting me out the door!
