Yesterday I had one of those runs that just felt good.  I seem to do that about once a week right now.

But before I had my run, I had to get my lil cowboy on the school bus! He got to ride the bus to school to have a practice kindergarten day.  He was so excited.  I do also confess that I cried a little after he got on the bus.  His little sister and I followed the bus to school to make sure he got to the right place and his cousin took good care of him on the bus and during recesses.

He was so bummed when I told him he wasn't going back again until August.  He loved it!

Sunday we dyed Easter eggs.  The kids had a great time and I let them both do 6 eggs.

Just having fun!

A finished masterpiece.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

  1. It's hard letting go. I know I will cry when I drop my baby off at Kindergarten in the fall. It will be hard to let go.

  4. a practice run for kindergarten- never heard of it, but what a genius idea!!!

Decorating easter eggs is one of those 'family activities' I can't wait to take part in when I actually DO start a family :)

  10. Gorgeous kids! My youngest is so excited for the fall - he stands at the bus stop every morning with my oldest son (and me, of course) & tries to climb on the bus. He asks all the time when he finally gets to go to "big boy school". And, I get teary too. :-)

We need to color our eggs - my kids are going to love it, but I've been putting off the mess. :-)
