Thursdays Three

This one will be short and sweet.

1.   Life feels crazy busy right now, probably because I am working three days in a row this week and I never do that!  I missed out on three days of great running weather this week due to work and just a busy Monday (I had a massage and a  body wrap)  but since I am kicking of some half marathon training soon I am not too worried about it.  I am going to call it a little rest before I get serious :)

2. So excited to get to go to the Cats game this weekend. Montana State vs Sam Houstan.  It is a repeat of a playoff matchup from last year.  Last year we played on their turf and they trounced the Cats.  Boo.  This year it is in Bozeman and it is going to be WINTERY!  Hopefully that will throw the Texas boys for a loop.   The kids are staying home with their grandma so it will be like a date.  :)
The game will be on ESPN2 Friday night.

3. Since my Hood to Coast team from last year did not get into Hood to Coast again this year we are looking to do a Ragnar Relay.  Maybe Napa, or the ones in Minnesota or Washington.  It is all very up in the air at this point, but it would be very exciting!

and .. I am thinking I want these.. but do I need them?  I am hoping they come up with a St. Patricks Day sock too.

  4. I know I want those socks to,but I just got the purple ones. Cant afford any more right now. I've been working more to and it is tough when your not use to it. I do feel however that I'm more organized than when I work part time. With 2 kids in college extra money is good. One of the boys graduates in May, so I know their is an end to all this work sometime down the future.

  5. I was on the fence with the candy cane socks. I like them, but do I like them enough to drop more cash on more knee high compression socks? Eh.

  10. Haha i love how working 3 days in a row is not normal for you, awesome schedule.
I saw the new design from pro compression too- adorable, but not sure how much you can get out of them with year round. I asked for some pairs (plain pink and plain black) for Christmas, I hope santa pulls through!

  16. The Procompression holiday socks are super cute! I was going to buy them but I already bought some $5 holiday socks for a Christmas 5k, so I didn't want to spend the extra money. Maybe next year!

  18. Cute socks!! I always wonder how people run races in cute socks - I'm so picky about what's on my feet - don't people get blisters with the non-running socks?

    Have a great weekend!

  19. I think EWU played Sam Houston a couple of years ago in the playoffs. Tomorrow they play Illinois State. I am looking forward to the game, but not freezing my tail off. Since EWU was ranked so high all of their games will be at home. They played last weekend and it was so cold I felt like I was dying- slight exaggeration. :-)
