Three Things Thursday: Short and Sweet

1. Stir crazy, that is how I feel right now.  In the last 10 days I have ran 4 miles.  I did two of those yesterday.  I am trying to remind myself of the big picture and scaring myself by imagining never runner again usually helps.    The two miles felt good and I considered going 4, but in the end decided I better just take it easy.  which in my book equals boring when I am doing it day after day!

2. Okay, lets get away from running talk.  I have been doing the Under Armour What's Beautiful (I am sponsored by Under Armour for this competition)  and found this page which has great videos of some awesome training moves like walking planks, pistols, pushup jacks and so many more moves that I love and want to try. So if you are looking for a challenge, new moves etc I say check it out!

3. Sometimes I can't help myself.  I see new flavors of Chapstick I have never tried before and I have to have them.  Cotton candy Chapstick!!  Yum, it was in a three pack with grape and fruit punch.  Grape is also yum, fruit punch is so so.  I always have loved the mint and strawberry.
The strawberry reminds me of being a kid and the plain reminds me of my Dad since he always seemed to have it in his pocked when I was growing up.  Not so long ago I also won these two awesome flavors from Kiley, plus apple.
My husband really liked the apple and I ended up buying more in a three pack. I think I have 6 Chapsticks in my purse right now and several in my makeup bag.  YUM.  Not a sponsored post I just noticed I had a lot of Chapstick and since I am not running I don't have much to talk about.

  1. Two miles would make me feel like it wasn't even worth getting changed. I'm going to be in the same boat next week, too. Hang in there!!

  2. Oh Christy!! I hope you are feeling better soon...I know how it feels to have your brain wanting to do one thing and your body allowing you to do another! I will have to check out that site this afternoon! Thanks for sharing it!

  3. I love ChapStick too so I like this post! My favorite is the ChapStick with Moisturizer and SPF 15. I love the Cake Batter one too. I like the flavor every once in a whole but really prefer the plain one. I know that not being able to run is tough but you have to be smart and do the right thing. I know you will but you have to tell yourself these words when you are tempted. Been there...done that! Take Care.

  5. COTTON CANDY?!!! I need to go find some. Chapstick is my favorite too, I have all those except the cotton candy. I agree with fruit punch being so so. Not their best.

  6. Haha, can a girl ever have enough lip balms? My question--why do the many I have all over the place run out at the exact same time?

  10. Smart call on the 2 miles!

Even though I'm not a chapstick gal, I love reading about your collection. Does that make me a chapstick voyeur? :)

  13. You love fun flavored chap sticks :)

Don't worry I've been really not running much at all, it's so weird, but I know it's just a wave in the cycle.

  14. I'd love to try the cupcake one. But I might end up craving cupcakes all day.. that wouldn't be great.

  17. LOL on the chapstick. I always just buy the plain no flavor. If I go flavor I find myself licking it off...and I don't think that's the point :)
