I would definitely count it. And extra congrats on the 2nd overall! That is awesome!

This post is close to my heart because I've never run a 10k either. I think I might make it happen this year too. I've done everything from 5k, 8k 5mile, 12k, 15k, 10mile, to half and full marathons. This is the year of the elusive 10k for us! ;)Xaarlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09103441780159368391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993815500672701308.post-64840718542515014042011-05-13T17:21:15.352-06:002011-05-13T17:21:15.352-06:00That is so funny...I have never done a 10k either!...That is so funny...I have never done a 10k either! I have done a TON of 5ks and one half marathon! I am doing a 10k at the end of May! Just think...you will have an automatic PR since it is your first one! I am sure you will do great!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993815500672701308.post-875281084787799682011-05-12T11:17:40.145-06:002011-05-12T11:17:40.145-06:0010k's are by far my absolute favorite distance...10k's are by far my absolute favorite distance so you must do it for me. Please! I love them because they are not too short and long enough to feel like I got an awesome workout. I have also heard from several people that 10ks are the best way to improve marathon and half marathon times. Do it! Do it! Do it!

I am running a marathon for the first time in 9 days. I would say the most intimidating for me the 25k. I have only run 1 and it stunk! The intimidating thing about the marathon isn't the race it's the training. I loved the race!fancy nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11645116527352135569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993815500672701308.post-55866455593084713332011-05-12T10:47:02.540-06:002011-05-12T10:47:02.540-06:00You TOTALLY can do this!!You TOTALLY can do this!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993815500672701308.post-83710557747419821732011-05-12T09:24:27.416-06:002011-05-12T09:24:27.416-06:00My first race ever is next month and it is a half ...My first race ever is next month and it is a half marathon... Then two weeks later I'm doing a 5K (but I'm going to be my mom's racing buddy on that one, so I won't be going for any certain time, just going to enjoy the day and the scenery because it is a trail 5K).Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05790614672254668087noreply@blogger.com
