The girls missing just breaks my heart-- the family must be hurting so much-- sending prayers that this has a happy ending.
On a much lighter note, I have run races without trying to PR, I run some for fun, stopping and taking pictures along the way and others I am just trying to do my best, but know it won't be a pr. Glad you had a good run, such a good feeling! Have a great weekend!

You know, for the last year or two, my running has fallen off the wagon so that ALL of my races are just runs with no attempt at a PR. I'm debating trying for a new half in the fall because I think I'm finally ready enough to care :)
