I did not know about this! Two of my sons are lefties, although I tried to make a righty out of the first one. He is 24 now and ambidextrous! I learned my lesson and fully embraced my 8-year old's left-handedness. One pet peeve: "left/right" school scissors. They are NOT appropriate for lefties! I have to special order my son's scissors.

Another lefty here! My mother and her mother were also both left handed. I have twin nieces and one is left handed, so four generations of lefties in my clan.

My little Doodle is showing preference to be a lefty, but her twin, Buggie, isn't. Funny thing - my best friend is a lefty and my twins were born on her birthday. and then my coworker told me her fiance is born that same day and is also a lefty. Must be something about May 26 :)

Although my husband is right handed, he does some things left-handed, like golf, cricket, etc.
So glad you are on a roll again with your running! Our injuries have kind of paralleled each other and right now I'm feeling the same about turning a corner - finally trusting my leg and looking forward to getting stuck in to half marathon training. It's a great feeling!

Yay on your leg! My dad is a lefty and he tell me these horror stories from when he was a kid-- his teacher made him stay in on recess to teach him to write with his right hand so that he could be "like the other kids." How wrong is that?!
