It is crazy because having grown up in Puerto Rico and then having lived the past 16 years in NC, you'd think I would be used to running in hot weather... but I'm not! Fall is my perfect time to run but nothing beats a run in the falling snow. What's too hot for me? anything above 85. :)

I'll run when it's in the low 90's... but I hate every step of it. High 70's or low 80's is great... but really... I have to say, I really, really like running when it's in the 40's.

I hear you on the hot weather. I'm over it, and honestly until these past few weeks we had a mostly mild summer. But it's been hot and humid for my long runs lately.

I couldn't help but thing over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go....for some reason while reading your blog. Cool she is that close. I miss my grandparents..they have all passed on. Cherish those times!

When I do my long runs it is often in the low to mid 80's when I get done running and that is TOO hot. I agree, anything over about 60 is too warm.

Just think of it this way--it will be really cold before you know it! I am tired of the heat/humidity this year, too, simply b/c of it's huge impact on heart rate while I try to run low heart rate. September's going to feel great!

The perfect running temperature is definitely 60s with low humidity. Right now it's 70s with 98% humidity and I'm thinking today will be a fast run on the treadmill day.
