He would run, quad would act up, then he would go back down to running slower and shorter distances. It's like he couldn't shake it for the longest time and I can only imagine how frustrating it must be. At least you can run some. Back when I had IT Band problems, I couldn't run faster than 10:30 or 11's without sparking the pain. It was such a drag but I kept telling myself "at least you're running!"

My boys make tents and sleep in the oddest places. That's the fun part about being a kid! I would take your slow speed any day though :) Even at that, you are still faster than a good chunk of runners..so it could be much worse.Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17584071206419891364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993815500672701308.post-48943618122365485602013-08-08T06:58:05.947-06:002013-08-08T06:58:05.947-06:00Too funny about the coffee table--kids can be so g...Too funny about the coffee table--kids can be so goofy sometimes! :) Amy @ Juice Boxes + Crayolashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03394146179138283691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993815500672701308.post-76575290608085016102013-08-08T06:56:16.067-06:002013-08-08T06:56:16.067-06:00As you recover, have you been doing hamstring stre...As you recover, have you been doing hamstring strengthening exercises? Slow down, give up the "speed", run more, less injury. Maybe that's a formula that will work?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02219457885959637135noreply@blogger.com
