I was at Walmart buying some fruit when I was working in Missouri and the guy in front of me had: canned chili, several 2 L bottles of coke and a bunch of frozen pizzas. I can understand not having a salad with every meal, but you have to have SOME veggies! How are things that seem like total common sense to us, so completely foreign to other people? For example : no one had to tell me not to fill my kids' baby bottles with soda...it was just something I knew. Why does that instinct not kick in for other parents? When I was with my ex husband (before my fitness and weight loss journey), I thought I was normal keeping things like Doritos, and candy, and canned puddings and things in the house for snacking. And it turns out... I was right! It IS NORMAL. And that's the scary part.... We keep NONE of that here. No soda. No chips. No junk. Our fridge is stocked with many, many colorful pieces of deliciousness. Our diets (and health) have drastically improved... It makes me sad that people are so addicted to the junk that makes them unhealthy....

Sarah
www.thinfluenced.comSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11429074991314349493noreply@blogger.com
