man, I hadn't checked the weather yet. That is pretty disappointing. I just want it to be nice. No more snow!! I'm crossing my fingers that forecast will change (a lot) before the race.

I like your goals for the 1/2. I'm basically in the same spot, I want to run it somewhere between 1:40 and 1:50. But I don't want to push it too much because I want to be injury free for my marathon next month. And I love your outfit!

Depending on the weather, I know you can go fast (I'm sorry to hear about all the illness, though, especially the UTI--those suck). I'm running a half that same day in Moab--not sure about goals yet since my real focus is next month's Eugene Marathon. A PR would be nice, of course! Good luck!

That course looks awesome! It seems like it would keep you from going out too fast, and ten you could just kick it into over drive and cruise down the hill!

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR HALF!!! I start checking the weather as soon as it starts showing up in the extended forecast. It's not as critical now that I have year-round, all weather running gear, but the first year I got back into running, it often meant I needed (or at least could justify) new apparel for new-to-me-for-running-through weather.
