I felt horrible for Ben. I think the producers made her stop and let him propose. I think she would have stopped him if she could.

I did enjoy watching JP propose to Ashley, however. It was so sweet. Where I didn't like the Brad/Emily finale (I never did like Brad), I liked this one a lot more.

Me I would have picked Ben. I liked him. I think she should have never let him get down on his knee, that was a bit mean on her part, she could have saved him some humiliation at least.
Right when he said "you have no ring on your finger" she should have said something.

I am glad that he was angry and that he told her to stop with the "you're so great" BS!

I do think she and JP will make it. I hope they do and that Ben is the next Bach. I think it will be him or Ames.

TOTALLY agree with everything you said about the finale...they really were kissing like every single moment of the After the Rose show. haha. But I guess it must be nice to finally be "public"...and even though I knew she would likely pick JP...Ben was seriously too sweet and it was tough to watch him so upset. and not really sure why she would let him get as far as she did...knowing she would say no??? She kinda just stood there...totally awkward.

I didn't actually WATCH it, but I could hear my mother's running commentary on it from down the hall, so I'm pretty well caught-up. lol. This whole season has been ridiculous. I'm still not convinced that Ashley knew what she wanted/ wants. It'll be interesting to see if/how long this will last. I always HOPE these couples are the next Trista/Ryan, but the set-up almost sets these couples up for failure in the real world after the show is done.

Oh, and if I only have a short period of time to work out, I head for my erg (rowing machine). It's a full-body workout with every stroke and I have to keep myself from reminiscing back to high school when I was on the rowing team. lol
