Silver lining right? hehe<br /><br />My Garmin would not turn on at UV marathon last year and it was awful but also probably one of the best things that ever happened to me because it taught me to pace naturally. All in all you still got a great workout in and a new garmin. We were near the front, too (maybe 15-20 others in front of us). We thought about turning back and heading around the correct way, but decided to hoof it in and DQ ourselves. Oh well! I wouldn't consider it cheating! Sounds like a poorly run race overall!!<br /><br />Name for the Garmin?
