GIRL! I know we are strangers, but I am a HTC runner this year too and we are both #11. I am a BRAND new runner. So excited to run to the beach. The weather here is really pretty mild. And extended forecast is calling for a cloudy weekend. So I just wanted to give ya a little tip- be prepared for cold. Our afternoon run will probably not be awful. At best, mid 80's, so don't fret! Oregon is excited for you too! This is a beautiful place to run, so many trees, and views, you will hardly have to think about anything but watching the scenery go by! Good luck!

You are going to have a blast! Do you know everyone on your team? Or anyone? I was also number 11 in the relay I ran. It is hard to have to get up in the middle of the night to run (or stay up!) but the night run was my favorite one in the end! Have fun! Don't forget the baby wipes!

I ran H2C last year. I ran leg 6 in van 1. This year I am running the same leg again. Our start time is Friday at 9:30.

I've run H2c lots of times and I've run leg 11 before too. The last leg is tough - but you are so well trained just coming off a marathon - you will do great. I'm running leg 12 this year - our start time isn't until 1:30 though, so we'll be finishing later than you are.

How cool you get to do H2c!! I hope your hard leg feels easy and that you enjoy each of the sections you run- even the HOT ones.
You will just LOVE the beach. Not sure if you have been to other oceans or not, but expect some cool breezes in Astoria :)
