I don't mind running in the cold since my body usually warms up pretty quickly...as long as I don't stop and get shivers, but the lungs - yikes! It is definitely harder to run when it's so cold. Great job getting out there and doing it Ms. Competitive!!

Brr!!! I don't know what the lowest temps is I've ran in. I know it was in the teens. Actually getting out there is the hardest part cause once i'm running I warm up in about a mile or two and then sometimes need to start peeling off layers cause I over dressed haha.

NIce job. I am still to wimpy to go running in the snow. So, I'm stuck inside trying to figure out which video to workout to. You should definitely get your little one a camera. Maybe a budding photographer? My youngest loves to take videos so we got him a video camera for Christmas. He loves it!

we ran in 5 degree weather two weeks ago and were bundled from head to toe, 2 days later we had on shirts and tights with nothing else and were sweating. It was 32 degrees. It is amazing what feels warm in the winter. Good for you for running 8 after being on a horse the entire day the day before. you are hard core!
