I know how you feel, Sophis started all day kindergarten. She absolutely loved it for the first two weeks, then refused to grt on the bus for an entire week. She decided it was too long, boring and her back hurt from sitting so long. Very dramatic but now she's fine, as long as she can walk our puppy to the bus stop...whatever it takes.

Have a great experience with Hood to Coast. We signed up but didn't get in. I run the BFE 60 Mile Relay here in Hastings, Nebraska tomorrow.

I cried when my mom left me on my first day of school (ever) at kindergarten. I was worried that without me, she won't know the way home. :) I am a natural worrier.

I love that pillow pet. Isn't that just sweet? It melts me heart when I see how little kids give up their favorite stuff for people they love.

You think you're crying now, just wait until he hits a graduation year! When my oldest graduated grade 8 I was a mess for the month of June. That's the part of having kids that I don't like. Them growing up! LOL Enjoy this amazing age! All the best to you at HTC! I hope that you have a great time!

I've been through 2 of my guys starting school, now, but the 3rd (and last) was the hardest for me, this week. Sounds like you all survived, though. Being focused on HTC probably didn't hurt, either.

I've only teared up once, when Will's teacher gave me this really sweet note about how she knew she was taking my baby, and that she would take good care of him and shepherd his learning etc. etc. Other than that, it's been really fun for all of us so far, although the long days and prompt start time have been an adjustment. I agree with what Missy says--kindergartners are wonderful people. The stories they are coming home with are hilarious.
