Winter running is a challenge indeed, especially at first when we aren't acclimated yet and tend to overdress or shiver to death. As soon as we get it all figured out, then it's spring!

I LOVEEEEE Body Rock! I actually applied to be a Body Rock host! Hahahaha. The workouts I post every week are similar in nature- quick, not a ton of space needed, and hardcore!!! Hopefully you use some ideas, too- I agree about the lack of Jess time. But Zuzana is a dream!

I don't need to run /w my ipod at all! but I do just b/c most people do. sometimes I like to hear songs but for the most part I prefer just taking in the sights and sounds while I run. If I lived where you do (cowpies and all) I'd probably never take my ipod! lol

I didn't run with my iPod today either, and it was also VERY cold here (sub-20!). I really like running in the winter as long as people clear their sidewalks like they are supposed to and the cars don't hit me. You watch for hunters, I watch for commuters. Sigh. :^)

Sometimes running in the winter is so peaceful cause fewer people are out and about. I love the days when I'm running in an open space area and don't see anyone other than me :)
