This year I really want to continue to run outside...at least my long runs on Saturdays. You have inspired me to suck it up and just do it. I have a treadmill and a gym membership but running on a treadmill is just down right boring. I also LOVE to see the beauty that each day brings and I seem to appreciate it a whole lot while I'm running! I'm with you and really prefer running in the cold over the heat of summer. I mainly tell people I do it to keep in shape because I don't have a gym membership. I do enjoy people thinking that I am super hardcore, too, though :). It can be cold at first, but I usually warm up really fast- even in the single digits.
