Not a snake fan. Once in a while we encounter a grass snake here but too moist a climate for rattle snakes... haven't seen one of those for many years. Ours are harmless, at least. BE CAREFUL out there! Glad you got your domain mess cleared up!

Rattle snake awesomeness! I had one rattle at me years ago when hiking. Of course I stopped to take a pic, but the lens I had on was too long. So, I went back to my car, changed lenses and went back to get a pic :) It wasn't that good, though- it was too well hidden.

I did toss a pair of socks after each Tough Mudder and the Merrel Mud Run.

I'm shuddering at the snake...hate them! And yes I've had to throw away a pair of socks just because they were beyond salvation...lol. So sad especially when they are a favorite pair. Lovely view. Just gorgeous!

I agree with the ladies...I would just be running around aimlessly! I threw my socks away that I wore going to and running Boston. It was POURING that day and they were not even close to being saved!

Haha I agree with Running Ricig - I'd probably end up lost, or at least tripping constantly, since I'd always be looking at my GPS instead of what I was running into! Also, cheat grass, uck, looks miserable (and itchy!).

Never had to toss a pair of socks, but I don't usually go trekking through the wilderness here. Too many gators, snakes, wild pigs and things that go bump in the night around here. :)
