Weekly Wrap: Here Comes the Sun

Sunday: 4.25 miles... cold cold cold! I planned for 5 but I have to admit I made a tactical error and ran into the wind to start with and my hands were so cold at the end I didn't care about the other three quarters of a mile.  I am really over the subzero temps!

Monday; 10 miles.. another cold run. So over this weather!

Tuesday: 40 minutes of yoga before work

Wednesday:  21 Day Fix Extreme ABC Extreme workout

Thursday: a quick 4 miles after work... things are warming up a bit!

Friday: 21 day Fix Extreme Yoga and Power Strength Extreme from the 21 Day Fix Extreme

Saturday: 7 mile run  and the 21 day Fix Extreme Upper Body Fix
It felt so nice outside! Loving the sunshine and not being super bundled up!

Sunshine
What's with all the 21 Day Fix Extreme?   I have done Zuzka Light workouts for years and felt like I needed a change, so I joined Beachbody on Demand and so far am loving the variety and challenge of new and different workouts.  Zuzka does a lot of burpees and those seem to make my back mad.

  1. I would be over the sub zero stuff too, combined with wind that is rough! I am impressed you can get out and run with no yaktrack on your shoes. I could hardly walk in the stuff lol I love your Lone Peaks! I need to revisit the Altra's and see if I can find a pair that work for me now.
Great job getting out there :) You ran a lot of miles!

  2. I guess you are used to it, but living here in the suburbs, I get anxious looking at all that space! Do you?

  3. I wouldn't know what to wear with those frigid temps! It is very beautiful though. I don't see Cola! Was it too cold for him? We don't seem to be having a winter at all -- so that makes me miss my summer water skiing. You definitely need to stay away from anything that aggravates your back. That's why I don't plank! That's my story anyway ;) Thanks for linking, Christy!

Burpees do that to my back too! :(
