Monday
40 minutes of yoga
21 minutes of rowing
5.25 mile hill and tempo run.

Tuesday

Wednesday:

Thursday
30 minutes of yoga in the morning
11 mile long run (first run in the double digits for the year!) slow and easy and despite the wind and hills felt really good.

Friday
27 minutes of HIIT before work in the morning

Saturday
5.1 mile run with hill repeats and a short tempo run

Sunday: 45 minutes of power yoga which is a strength and yoga HIIT session basically, and a 7 mile run over snow covered roads, but the sun did finally decide to come out and play.

yoga x4
strength x3
rowing x1 for a 5k
runs x4 for 28.35 miles
miles for the year 69.23

I am going to call it a successful week! I would like to be working on speed a little more but it's a bit hard with the roads so snow covered and traction is not optimal.  I am hoping all the hills and throwing in some fartleks when I do have good traction will add up and count for something!

53 days and 22 hours until the Run to the Pub Half Marathon!

once again linking up with Holly and Tricia for the Weekly Wrap

  3. Great job this week getting in all those different kinds of workouts! Im sure snowy roads would make it difficult to do speedwork:) Hills will definitely help to make you stronger!

  6. Looks like an amazing week! Your pictures are awesome, as always.

I have to do speedwork too, looks like I'll be doing it on the treadmill this week. The ice makes things a little more exciting than I like...

  8. I absolutely call that a successful week. I think running hills and fartleks will get you where you want to be. Your spiderman pants (that's probably not what they really are - ha ha) are so cute! I think my next half is around the same time as yours. I haven't started training yet. My IT band needs a little more rest. Thanks for linking with us Christy!

  9. Great mileage in four runs :) Yes, the hills will give you a boost for sure. You are having some really strong runs while traction is not optimum.
I am glad you love that orange mud pack. I ordered one but I couldn't reach the bottles no matter how I adjusted it :( I had to return it, but I think it is such a cool hydration pack! Bottles are so easy.

  11. Looks like you had a great workout week. I love your jump picture! One can never have too many jump shots! :-) It looks like we're going to have our first snowfall of the season this weekend, so I'll be worrying about traction again soon.

  12. Great week of running and other workouts. I love all of your outfits! I can see where the snow would make speed work difficult, but the hills will make you stronger.
